March Madness

A blog?  Really?  Is it really called the A Team Site?  Are you guys really that corny?  Yes to all, and believe me, you will read.  See, I have built it and you will come.  So, I am posting a blog.  I want to be able to share with you all my day's events, and instead of writing a bunch of emails, now I can just post.

So, March Madness begins.  I will be leaving Kirkuk, Iraq soon for R&R to see Audra after 4 long months of being apart.  It has been challenging to keep up with the pace of the deployment, but I manage.  Audra and I try and Skype on the weekends, otherwise we send emails.  Skype is an amazing program that has really helped Audra and I feel connected.  We've had a few dates on Skype, including a romantic Valentine's Day, where I told her I loved her and then promptly fell asleep.

For our R&R trip, we are going to Las Vegas.  We can't wait.  We'll be sure to take tons of photos and post them.  My buddies are encouraging me to Marry Audra in Las Vegas with Elvis as our witness, however, I'm not sure our parents or the Church would agree.  You have to admit though, it would be funny.  The wedding picture would be classic.
